Council of Representatives resumed the ongoing session with a new constitutional breach

Council of Representatives had resumed the first ongoing session of the first legislative term for the first legislative year on Saturday, September 9th,2018. It was conducted based on the invitation of the Senior President of the council by a new constitutional breach as it was not devoted on what stated in the article No.55 of the Iraqi Constitution “The Council of Representatives shall elect in the first session a president then a first deputy then a second deputy by an absolute majority of a number of the council’s members by direct secret election”.
