The House of Representatives held its first session of the first semester of the third legislative year of the fourth electoral cycle, headed by Mr. Muhammad al-Halbousi, Speaker of the House, on Saturday (5/9/2020) and in the presence of (210) deputies.
The session included a discussion of the legal committee report on the multiple departments of the House of Representatives' election law, and ended the first reading of the draft law amending the Federal Supreme Court Law No. (30) of 2005 and the Cabinet and Ministries Law and the second reading of the First Amendment Law of the Public Prosecution Law No. 49 of 2017.
