On 23/07/2014 House of deputies held the second session of the first legislative term for the first year under the chairmanship of Mr. Saleem al-Jubouri, head of the House of deputies, and the session included:
- The presence of 236 Deputy
- voting on delaying of the election of President of the Republic to the end of the session
- Voting on the formation of a committee to follow up the project of the budget bill law.
- Reading a statement from the Civic Democratic Alliance MP by the deputy Shurooq Abaiji
- postponing the election of President of the Republic 24 hours, down to the request of the Kurdish blocs and for that reason the session was Adjourned until the day after Thursday 07.24.2014 |
