The House of Representatives held on (9/21/2020) its sixth session of the first legislative term for the third year, the fourth electoral cycle headed by Mr. Hassan Al-Kaabi and attended by (170), and it included the session.
- The council postponing the vote in principle on the proposed law to cancel the dissolved Revolution Command Council No. (218) of 2002 submitted by the Legal and Financial Committees until the government's opinion of the law in financial terms is known.
- Mr. Hassan Al-Kaabi’s mention that the House will complete at the end of this week the legislation of the House of Representatives election law.
- The Council votes on the draft law on the accession of the Republic of Iraq to the Minamata Convention on Mercury submitted to the Committee on Foreign Relations, Health and Environment.
- Postponing the vote on the health insurance law proposal submitted by the Health and Environment Committee until the articles of the proposal have matured.
- The second reading of the draft law on the accession of the Republic of Iraq to the Maritime Labor Convention for the year 2006 submitted by the Committee on Foreign Relations, Labor, Social Affairs, the Displaced and the Deportees.
- The second reading of the draft law on the accession of the Republic of Iraq to the Convention on Identity and Documentation of Sailors No. (185) for the year 2003 submitted by the Committee on Foreign Relations, Labor, Social Affairs, and the Displaced
- The second reading of the draft law on the accession of the Republic of Iraq to the second protocol of the Hague Convention of 1954 on cultural property in the event of armed conflict submitted by the committees on foreign relations, culture, tourism and antiquities.
- The second reading of the project for the accession of the Republic of Iraq to the Convention on the Protection and Use of Transboundary Watercourses and International Lakes Helsinki 1992 submitted by the Foreign Relations, Culture, Tourism and Antiquities Committees
- The second reading of the draft law amending the Federal Supreme Court Law No. (30) of 2005 submitted by the Legal Committee.
- Interventions of the ladies and gentlemen of the representatives, on the importance of replacing all members of the Federal Court and determining the issue of age and excluding them from the retirement law for a specific age, provided that the appointment of judges is by the Supreme Judicial Council, and the proposal to add two more members from the Kurdistan region within the reserves with the original members of the court, as well as Making the law enforceable from the date of voting on it for its utmost importance and emphasizing the presence of experts in Islamic jurisprudence to ensure the conformity of the rulings issued in accordance with Article Two of the Constitution, and a request to limit the amendment of the law to addressing the court's numerical quorum without entering into other additional amendments.
- The concerned committee’s response to the interventions and its confirmation of amending the Federal Court’s law to take into account the views and suggestions of the ladies representatives, indicating its focus in amending the law on the article related to amending the court’s numerical quorum and the voting mechanism in it.

- The first reading of the draft Law of the Third Amendment to the Industrial Investment Law for the private and mixed sectors No. 20 of 1998 submitted by the Economic and Investment Committee.
- The first reading of the proposed law replacing freedom deprivation with sums of money submitted by the Legal Committee.
- Mr. Bashir Haddad's announcement of the arrival of the draft General Budget Law for the year 2020 to Parliament.
- General discussions focused on the interventions of women and gentlemen of representatives, to include financial allocations in the budget for the year 2020 for lecturers, contracts, and daily procedures, and to respond to the demands of health cadres camped in a number of governorates, and the call to host the advanced staff in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to inquire about some statements about Iraq's borders with neighboring countries for review On the map of the borders and the sovereignty of Iraq, the emphasis on government control of uncontrolled weapons and the imposition of law, and the need to accelerate the construction of the large port of Faw within international technical specifications, as well as the call to activate the Federal Service Council.
