Session Report

The House of Representatives held on (10/27/2020) its fifteenth session of the first legislative term for the third year, the fourth electoral session headed by Mr. Hassan Al-Kaabi and the presence of (170) deputies, and the session included:  - To vote on the inclusion of the first amendment of the Law of Samarra, the capital of Islamic civilization, on the agenda of the session for the purpose of voting on it after submitting a request from the committee supervising the law accompanied by the signature of 57 deputies.  - Voting on the Law of Samarra, the capital of Iraq for Islamic civilization No. (5) of 2018 submitted by the Culture, Tourism and Antiquities Committee to overcome the practical problems that faced the formation of the Preparatory Committee to declare Samarra as the capital of Iraq for Islamic civilization and for the purpose of enabling the committee to carry out its tasks.  After that, it was decided to adjourn the session.
