On (2024/2/26) the House of Representatives held its eleventh session of the first legislative term of the third legislative year of the fifth electoral cycle, headed by First Vice-Speaker Mr. Mohsen Al-Mandalawi in the presence of ( 175) Representatives , and the session included:
-Voting on the draft law amending the law on Iraq's accession to the International Convention on Loading Lines of 1966 and the Protocol amending it of 1988, as amended in 2003 No. 14 of 2020, submitted by the Foreign Relations Committee.
-The first reading of the proposed law on the first amendment to the law on the basis of equivalence of Arab and foreign certificates and degrees No.(20) of 2020 submitted by the Higher Education and Scientific Research Committee.
- Mr. Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, Acting Speaker of the House , Directing to file a lawsuit against Al-Mirbad TV, which broadcasts the comedy program that harmed the reputation of the House of Representatives, stressing the right of the House to file a lawsuit against any party that offends the legislative authority.

-First reading of the proposed law amending the Advocacy Act No. 173 of 1965 submitted by the Legal and Labour Committees and civil society organizations.
- Dr. Shakhwan Abdullah directing to host the Minister of Education in the Parliamentary Education Committee in order to provide clarification on the Ministry's decision to close the representations of education in the Kurdistan region.
-Postponing the first reading of the proposed law on the Iraqi Programmers Syndicate submitted by the Labour Committee and civil society organizations.
