on (11/10/2022), the House of Representatives held its fifth session of the second legislative term of the first legislative year of the fifth electoral cycle under the chairmanship of Mohammed Al-Halbousi, and the session included:
- Postponement by the House of the discussion of the subject of the agricultural plan for the next winter season and the discussion of the serious water situation that is ravaging the country due to the inability of the Minister of Water Resources to attend because the death of his father this morning and the relation of the discussed topic in the presence of the Ministers of Agriculture and Water Resources to the House.
- Voting on a parliamentary decision to terminate the assignment of Mr. Ihsan Abdul Jabbar, Minister of Oil, from his post as Minister of Finance guardianship given the intersection of his work with the provisions of the amended Financial Management Law and at the request of 146 representatives, provided that the Speaker of the House assigns another person in his place.
