On (14/1/2023), the House of Representatives held its first session of the first legislative term of the second legislative year of the fifth electoral cycle under the chairmanship of Muhammad Al-Halbousi, in the presence of (237) representatives, and the session included:
-Messrs. Ghazwan Ali Muhammad Munshid takes the oath as a substitute for the deceased representatives
-Mahmoud Shaker Al-Salami, Kazem Attia Kazem takes the oath instead of the substitute representative Riad Ghali and Talib Al-Yasari takes the oath instead of the substitute representative Milad Shahid.
-The House of Representatives postponed the vote on the new representatives in the standing House committees.
