On (6/3/2023), the House of Representatives held its eleventh session of the first legislative term of the second legislative year of the fifth electoral cycle under the chairmanship of Muhammad Al-Halbousi in the presence of (179) and the session included:
-Postponing the vote on the draft law of the National Authority for Nuclear, Radiological and Chemical and Biological Regulation submitted by the Health and Environment Committees and Higher Education and Scientific Research to study the draft law with the government representative.
-First reading of the draft law regulating the rights of the victims of Ibn Al-Khatib Hospital submitted by the Martyrs, Victims, Political Prisoners, Health and Environment Committees.
-Representative Hassan Salem read a statement on the occasion of the anniversary of the 1991 uprising, in which the Iraqi people rose from north to south against the former Baath regime, after committing crimes that deplore humanity, a memory that is a history documenting the heroism of Iraqis against the dictatorship regime and the crimes of the grave Baath, which almost achieved its goals if not for international intervention in saving the head of the regime, pointing to the importance of fairness and perpetuation of what the martyrs of the blessed uprising have achieved.
-Second reading of the draft law ratifying the Agreement on the Promotion and Protection of Investment between the Government of the Republic of Iraq and the Government of the United Arab Emirates, submitted by the Foreign Relations Committee.
-Ladies and gentlemen of representatives called to subject international and Arab agreements to the principle of reciprocity in order to achieve the supreme interest of Iraq and to determine the type of sectors targeted by the agreement without being open to investment.

-Second reading of the draft law on the first amendment to the law regulating the lease of agricultural land and the ownership of the right to dispose of it for agricultural and veterinary graduates No. (24) of 2013, submitted by the Committee on Agriculture, Water and Marshes.
-The interventions focused on demanding to address the unemployment of the graduates, support them with all the requirements and mechanisms of their work, and determine the type of activity granted to the graduate.

-The Speaker of the House directed the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee to host security officials at the request of parliament to discuss the reasons for obstructing the completion of projects for the province of Baghdad and the Ministry of Housing, including the project of flowers for water and the construction of homes for citizens, which caused a waste of public money.
