On (29/4/2023), the House of Representatives held its twenty-first session of the first legislative term of the second legislative year of the fifth electoral cycle under the chairmanship of Muhammad Al-Halbousi, and the session included:

-Representative Muhammad Khalil read a statement in which he denied the attack on any mosque or places of worship by the Yazidi component in Sinjar district, stressing the keenness of the Yazidis to reject any action that provokes sedition among the people of the city and their keenness that Sinjar remains an icon of peaceful coexistence for all its people, calling on the government to commit to imposing the law and implementing the Sinjar Agreement

-The ladies and gentlemen, representatives demanding to direct an investigation into the suspicions and reluctance of the unified Amara water project, calling for the legislation of the Social Security Law for workers, demanding an increase in the allocations of the governorates in the budget law, increasing the minimum salaries for the retirement segment, establishing regular silos in Wasit governorate to absorb the wheat crop, calling for justice for members of the defense mobilization and establishing their rights, demanding the speedy enactment of the teacher protection law to preserve his dignity and prevent abuses against educational staff, in addition to paying attention to the requirements of the province of Babylon to provide services in it, and demandingReconsider the electricity tariff for shops and owners of farms and orchards, and demand the need to tighten the controls on the size of car loads to maintain the safety of the streets,
